A Major functionality gap has been called out for managing shutdown contractors in standard SAP Success Factors Solution.
Due to Data privacy concerns, it was not feasible for Customer Vendor Admins to login directly in SuccessFactors environment for onboarding contractors.
User Experience had to be consistent with SAP new design themes.
Single user interface for vendor to manage their contracts using Fiori app.
Realtime integration with SAP successfactors makes it easy for vendors to get real-time updates on their requests.
Simple interface for internal mobilization team to manage all contracts .
Design Thinking Approach
We participated in a series of workshops, partnering with Customer team to validate current state process and map target state process scope for Contractor Management Processes. Our Agile Solution Development Team developed mock-ups with multiple iterations for customer sign-off.
Build
Daily scrum meetings with the Customer key contact to manage M-S-C Scorecard in order to prioritise build components with the continuous testing mechanism. Security and UAT test scripts are finalized.
Sign-Off
Deployment and Production verification testing executed based on customer approvals & sign off.

Knowledge transition to Support Team. Defects and Minor fixes managed through Customer change & incident processes
Four Apps were delivered as part of this solutions with lot of smart filters, auto data populate rules and Custom integration for the data to flow from the Fiori Applications to SuccessFactors.
Role-based Fiori Apps to support Vendor Admins, Customer Mobilisation Team and Customer Admin’s to manage shutdown contractors effectively.
Increased data privacy compliance by allowing vendors to view their own active employees whilst restricting access to employees from other vendors. Faster to mobilise a contractor who is currently mobilized to another vendor.
Improved data quality of Customer System as Vendors can only mobilise people into approved positions within the Customer structure
Real-time data insights for Vendors to effectively manage their onboarding and offboarding processes with De-mobilisation option being more visible now.
