SAP Screen Personas – IT Dashboard

Business Challenge

Requirement to migrate IT Dashboard developed on Personas 2.0 to 3.0 and develop some additional features on Personas 3.0.

SAP 2.0 support is outdated and SAP does not support any longer. There was business urgency to migrate all Personas Flavors to 3.0

New Solution will look similar to old one with new look and feel as per 3.0 standards. New features have been added to make users more productive.

Design Thinking Approach

We participated in a series of workshops,  partnering with Customer  team to validate current state  SAP Personas screens in Personas 2.0 version.

Build

Daily scrum meetings with the Customer key contact to manage M-S-C Scorecard in order to priorities build components with the continuous testing mechanism.  Security and UAT test scripts are finalized.

Screen design is migrated and scripts are integrated and combined.

Sign-Off

Deployment and Production verification testing executed based on customer  approvals & sign off.

FOC ( FIORI OPERATIONAL CONTORL)

Knowledge transition to Support Team. Defects and Minor fixes managed through Customer change & incident processes.

Solution Outcome

7 SAP Personas flavors and 25 scripts are migrated to Personas 3.0 2 new flavors and 5 new scripts are created for new features on Personas 3.0 for MM Cockpit

New SAPUI5 based design and look of migrated screens makes it easy for users to operate day to day tasks.

SAP Personas 3.0 migrated scripts are faster and robust to execute compare to 2.0 which makes users more productive.
